The PN/CAN gateways are integrated by means of a GSDML file in the hardware configuration. This has the great advantage that the entire configuration is done from the engineering software.
The I/O data from the CAN participants is passed on transparently and can be processed directly in the PLC.
Additional software or handling blocks are therefore not required for these gateways.
