Phoenix Contact is expanding the connection options for electronics housings in the BC series. For the first time, Push-in PCB terminal blocks from the FKDSO 1.5 and FKDSO 2.5 series are available for the BC 17.8 (1 TE).

With the PCB terminal blocks of the FKDSO 1.5 and FKDSO 2.5 series, users can implement future-proof applications in building automation with up to 16 poles per module. The coordinated housing and connection system saves device developers time during the design-in. The PCB terminal blocks with a pitch of 3.5 mm (FKDSO 1.5) and 5 mm (FKDSO 2.5) are designed for currents up to 22 A. Three- and four-pole terminal blocks are available.

The arrangement of the terminals orthogonal to the printed circuit board ensures optimum accessibility to devices mounted in voltage rails. The Push-in connection enables easy connection without tools. Operation is simple and safe thanks to the contrasting operating button. The defined contact force of the Push-in connection ensures a long-term stable and vibration-resistant contact.
