REACH 2018 – mini symposium

Invitation to the six-monthly mini-symposium on substances policy. REACH 2018 is organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, VNO-NCW, the VNCI and the WECF. The mini-symposium will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in the Malietoren.

Program:

• 1:00 PM: Walk-in with coffee and tea
• 1.30 pm: evaluation of REACH At the beginning of 2018, the European Commission will present its evaluation, including an agenda for improvements in the coming years. What are the plans and what do the parties involved (government, NGOs, companies) think about them?

• 2.15 pm: ECHA presentation: the registration deadline: the final steps for suppliers and users How can you, as a supplier or buyer of substances, prepare for the deadline of June 1, 2018? What can you do to prevent or solve bottlenecks in the supply of your substances? These questions are central from the perspective of both industries and companies. An expert from the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) itself will provide information about this.
