Anybus CompactCom is the embedded solution for devices to communicate with real-time networks, such as Profinet, EtherNet/IP or EtherCAT. In addition, CompactCom comes standard with an extensive set of IT communications and therefore offers all the functionality for the modern factory. Thanks to CompactCom, real-time networking with IT communication can easily be combined in the embedded control of devices.

View live data from devices in a web interface
Give service employees web-based access to the status of your product via the built-in web server of Anybus CompactCom.

Stay informed with email notifications
Anybus CompactCom has a built-in email function that can send notifications, for example when it is time for a service or when a certain number of units have been produced.

Remote update via file transfer
Allow service personnel or customers to update the CompactCom or the application firmware using the built-in File Transfer Protocol functionality in CompactCom. Safe and easy.

Exchange industrial data with IT systems
Enable devices to communicate with IT systems using communication standards such as OPC UA.

Predictive maintenance

Perform predictive maintenance or on-the-fly analysis of real-time data. The “Smart Operations” of the future not only require connectivity to various industrial networks, but also connectivity towards cloud-based IoT software platforms such as SAP, Oracle, ThingWorks etc.

This offers new possibilities for on-the-fly analysis of real-time data, predictive maintenance or remote monitoring. Real-time communication on any Ethernet network

Time-critical communication with industrial automation is in the Anybus DNA. The Anybus CompactCom 40 series offers high-quality data exchange that can handle even the most demanding synchronized motion applications.

The central core of CompactCom is the Anybus NP40 — HMS' own industrial network processor that ensures that communication between the processor and the network is as fast as if the network communication had been implemented in the application's host processor.
