Last year, the originally Brabant company Rensen expanded with a branch in Kerkrade. There was also movement in the north of the country, where a branch moved from Hoogeveen in Overijssels to Lelystad. Rensen is currently the largest independent regulatory company in the Netherlands.
When we ask whether Ruud Cuppé (commercial director) is proud that they are now 'the largest' independent regulation company, he laughs. “It's not really about us being the biggest. I'd rather be the best. When people say; “Rensen is the place to be when things get complicated”, that makes me happy. It is a great reward for our hard work over the past few years. We won't stop doing that anytime soon.”
Knowledge and experience
Rensen builds and designs the most complex installations and also takes care of their maintenance. “Control technology is deeply rooted in our genes,” says Ruud Cuppé, commercial director at Rensen. “As a long-term partner, we ensure that buildings are not only equipped with the latest technologies. We also want a building to be comfortable, healthy and safe.”
The list of knowledge and skills within the company is still growing. “Nowadays it goes much further than just control technology,” says Ruud. “We are also involved in energy management, WKO management, internet security and ICT solutions. That is all part of our profession today.”
The numbers
The 75 specialists within the company now generate a turnover of 12 million. This is done from three locations: Uden (NB), Kerkrade (LB) and Lelystad (FL). Rensen has been around for almost 39 years and was founded in 1983 by John Rensen.
