AXEM Technology, a progressive manufacturer of RFID tags and labels, offers Protect+ for protecting labels in industrial environments. This is a flexible protective film with an extremely reinforced adhesive layer. It was developed for space travel, but is now also available for industrial applications.
Protect+ is suitable for outdoor use and resistant to high-pressure steam cleaners, UV radiation, chemicals, oil and gases: there will be at most a minor discoloration of the plastic, but the effect will be retained.
Protect+ is available as standard in the dimensions 30x15mm, 55x15mm, 70x30mm and 95x22mm. These dimensions are based on Axem's standard Platinum RFID labels, but customer-specific dimensions are also possible.
Applications include identifying tools, vessels and vehicles, for tagging traffic signs, street lighting and mobile barriers.
