Roaming SIM cards are used to improve reliability in IoT applications. A Roaming SIM selects a network based on signal strength. However, good signal strength does not automatically mean that this network can also transmit data. It often happens that the router does not roam to another network when data communication is not possible. Smart Reboot is then the solution.
The Smart Reboot app is able to recover data communication to remotely restore by sending an SMS to the router. This simple SMS saves you a visit to the location and therefore a lot of time and money!
Smart Reboot is available as part of the Data Guardv2 RobustOS application and can be added to any Robustel device.
