The new Titan 2 from Ion Science is a rugged, stationary gas monitor capable of accurately detecting benzene from 0.02 ppm (20 ppb) to 20 ppm with a 60 second sampling rate.
The device can be used for protection of personnel against exposure to benzene and also to measure benzene concentration in process applications.
The Titan 2 is equipped with the new MiniPID T2 10.0 eV lamp with improved sensitivity, reliability and performance. This sensor is equipped with the patented Fence Electrode technology, making the instrument virtually insensitive to dirt and moisture. The unique sampling method eliminates interfering elements such as toluene, xylene and methane.
The Titan 2 is ATEX certified and equipped with an IP65 housing, allowing the instrument to be used in dusty and humid conditions.
