The demand for sustainable solutions in laboratories is growing. At the same time, European regulations are changing rapidly. Consider CSRD, ESPR, the Digital Product Passport (DPP), and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPV). This requires knowledge, oversight, and concrete steps.

That's why FHI launched the Sustainability Laboratory Technology expertise group: an active platform where members collaborate on current issues and practical solutions. This way, we strengthen each other and the sector as a whole.

Why this expertise group?

Members indicate they need direction and tools to further advance sustainability within their organizations. The expert group brings together professionals to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and take action together. We connect content with practice.

What does the expertise group do?

  1. Sharing knowledge and inspiring

During meetings, members share insights on current legislation, regulations, and certifications, such as ACT Ecolabel and LEAF. This is currently happening within the group, but the ambition is to organize a meeting for all members later in 2026.

  1. Practical impact in the industry

In interactive sessions, members develop ideas and shape new initiatives. Together, we explore tools that can help the entire sector take a step forward in sustainability.
