Scailable and MCS intensify collaboration to provide safe and sustainable artificial intelligence solutions
The two very ambitious partners Scailable and MCS will collaborate strategically with the aim of introducing even more organizations to the possibilities of artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence/AI). Scailable has developed the patented plug & play Scailable AI manager for the MCS AI Gateway. In addition, they have appointed MCS as the exclusive Value-Added Distributor and Logistics Service Provider. The MCS AI Gateway series was co-developed with Advantech.
The basis for this partnership is a shared vision to bring AI innovations to the 'EDGE'. The lightweight Scailable AI application allows it to run locally (EDGE) on the MCS AI Gateway. For Scailable, this collaboration is an important step forward to further expand their EDGE AI solutions. The partnership supports MCS in its efforts to further expand its reach as a Managed IoT expert and to be at the forefront of new technological IoT developments.
Numerous applications possible
AI and big data have already become an indispensable part of everyday life. Well-known AI applications include object and people detection, people counting and license plate recognition (ANPR). These applications are all possible on the EDGE with the MCS AI Gateway. The EDGE form of artificial intelligence is ideal for industrial and business applications where existing infrastructure can be made smarter.

EDGE AI has major advantages for business compared to Cloud AI. Firstly, it is more durable. Existing hardware such as IP cameras can continue to be used. In addition, it is cheaper, because there are no hidden costs for the cloud. Third, it is safer because the AI applications run locally. Finally, it is also faster. This is because the data is processed directly in the special gateways.
