Sense of Contact: the event for sensor technology for 20 years
On 11 December 2019, Sense of Contact will celebrate its twentieth anniversary in Jaarbeurs Utrecht. Way ahead of its time, the possibilities of sensor technology were emphasised at the first event in 1999. From that beginning, the strength lies in the combination of a strong substantive lecture programme and the extensive expertise of the exhibitors. Each edition focuses on developments and research in the field of sensors. Technical professionals, experts from industrial markets and scientists come together at this event.
In the upcoming edition, the presentations will focus on current and future applications of sensor technology. Especially in this time with rapid development in technology, the program will give space to concrete possibilities and research.
The program committee consists of André Boer (KROHNE), Wybren Jouwsma (Bronkhorst High Tech), Eric Leijten (TE Connectivity), Rolf de Boer (Smartec) and Paddy French (TU Delft). For the Sense of Contact program, leading scientists and experts are invited to speak in the tracks 'Today' and 'Tomorrow'.
Topics that will most likely be discussed are: predictive maintenance for industries, applications of sensors, Distributed Sensor Systems, IoT sensors, Piezoelectric actuators / data disclosure and a smart energy network (power-to-gas).
Exhibitors can also suggest topics/potential speakers by sending an email to Marc Berkouwer.
To celebrate the twentieth edition with a lot of expertise, professional expertise and new developments from exhibitors, participation with a table-top is already possible for € 1,000 (excl. VAT). For this amount you will also receive 2 free VIP tickets to invite your relations and/or customers. Registration for a table-top is possible digital via the website.
Sense of Contact occurs simultaneously with the International MicroNano Conference (10 and 11 December). Exhibitors from both events will share the exhibition floor, allowing visitors to learn about both sensor and nanotechnology. Both events will have their own substantive lecture programme.
