Maintenance and repair of VIAVI equipment is now also possible in the Benelux
Simac Electronics has been officially appointed a service partner of VIAVI Solutions. This means that Dutch and Belgian users of VIAVI measuring and testing equipment can now have their equipment maintained, calibrated, and repaired in the Netherlands.
Previously, defective equipment or equipment requiring calibration often had to be shipped outside the Benelux, resulting in longer lead times. Thanks to the partnership with VIAVI, customers can now visit Simac Electronics' service center in Drunen. A certified team with specialized knowledge of VIAVI systems is available to provide immediate support.
"With this step, we strengthen our service proposition for the Benelux," says Ivo de Rooij, managing director at Simac Electronics. "Our technicians are trained and certified by VIAVI, allowing us to offer factory-level service. But without the logistical hassles."
Users of VIAVI OTDRs, Optical Power Meters, and other fiber optic test equipment can contact the service center to schedule equipment.
