Optimal digital transformation with systems and solutions from JUMO
Depending on the industry and application, JUMO offers products and solutions for every level of the automation pyramid. Sensor connection is possible both on the basis of IO-Link and via Single Pair Ethernet (SPE).
IO-Link is known as an industrially suitable communication system that has proven its simplicity and robustness in use time and again. The ease with which defective or damaged IO-Link sensors can be replaced results in reduced maintenance costs and a reduction in downtime. Fieldbus independence is guaranteed by an IO-Link master using multi-protocol capabilities.
Continuous communication down to the field level
SPE is rapidly gaining importance and is proving its suitability for industrial applications. JUMO has therefore integrated this innovative technology based on 10BASE-T1L into three new sensors:
- JUMO hydroTRANS S20 (temperature, humidity, CO2 sensor)
- JUMO flowTRANS MAG H20 (flow sensor)
- JUMO DELOS S02 (pressure sensor)
With Single Pair Ethernet, complex installations are a thing of the past. The new sensors from JUMO support Ethernet networks down to the field level. They ensure effective communication at all stages of the automation pyramid – right up to direct connection to the JUMO Cloud.
The end-to-end communication without media interruption is a major advantage of SPE. With the development of these new sensors, JUMO offers customers a sound decision basis for individual production process optimization possibilities, suitable for different applications.
