Subsidy options at NWO / ZONMW for corona research

The Cabinet is allocating a total of 42 million euros for research into the most urgent corona questions. A significant part of this amount is provided by ZonMW and NWO. The first call has now been issued and is full. This second and new call concerns larger research proposals that run for a longer period of time. A larger amount has also been made available for this purpose (20 to 25 million).

In this new call there will be room for different types of research, with attention also being paid to the consequences of the crisis and the longer-term measures. This call will be issued shortly. The entire program runs until the end of 2024 at the latest. Until then, there is room for the completion of all projects.
