Successful digital edition Energy Storage event
The third edition of the Energy Storage event – on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 February – took place digitally this year. During this event, trends and developments in the field of energy storage were discussed in detail. This digital format attracted 830 visitors in two days. Also new was corona-proof networking, an online coupling mechanism that worked safely and easily thanks to the smart matchmaking platform.
Highlights of the first day of the event
Manager Energy System Transition Alexander Savelkoul of Enpuls opened the first day of the Energy Storage event 2021. In his presentation he delved deeper into the practical research in which Enpuls tested the use of a battery in combination with a solar park to make better use of the electricity grids.
After a variety of presentations by the exhibitors, Prof. Ir. Peter Vaessen from TU Delft had the honor of closing the first day of the Energy Storage event. Second day
On day two of the event it was the turn of CEO Max Aerts of DENS. He gave explanation about climate-neutral construction with the DENS Hydrozine generator.
Consultant Paul Hoorens of CroonWolter&Dros concluded the lecture program with a session in which he the importance of safe operation of battery energy storage systems clarified. Read more…
