Extensive package of solutions for various drives and motors
Bihl+Wiedemann has an extensive portfolio of drive solutions from many leading manufacturers – for driven rollers (Interroll, Itoh Denki, RULMECA), DC motors (EBM-Papst) and frequency converters (S.E.W, NORD, Rockwell, Lenze, Bonfiglioli). Products from other manufacturers can also be integrated as desired. Combine our ASi-5– and ASi-3 solutions to always have the perfect mix for every challenge.
Benefits of ASi-5 drive solutions
- High bandwidth and short cycles allow speeds and acceleration to be written cyclically;
- Extensive diagnostic options, e.g. to detect a short circuit on an output or overload of the sensor power supply, but also drive-specific diagnostic options such as reading the current motor current;
- Standardized data mapping guarantees optimal and always consistent control, regardless of the drive used;
- Modules for driven rollers: efficient control of driven rollers in 24 V and 48 Vversion, because 20 W, 35 W or up to max. 50 W can be supplied per roll via the AUX cable;
- Modules for frequency converters and DC motors: change motor parameters easily and clearly and automatically restore them in the event of replacement.
ASi-3 drive solutions for simple applications
Our portfolio of drive solutions is complemented by the renowned ASi-3 motor modules. These modules are extremely economical and ideal for less demanding applications where, for example, simple start and stop functions are sufficient.
