Review 2021 | Industry Industrial Electronics
For the Industrial Electronics industry, the year 2021 was all about physical and online events, active cluster meetings with members, online findability and of course Covid-19.
FHI, Industrial Electronics organized two digital events (Energy Storage and Power Electronics) and three physical events: Design Automation & Embedded Systems, IT Infrastructure and EMC ESD. We have noticed over the past two years that digital events attract a different audience than physical events. In that sense they complement each other perfectly. Unfortunately we had to E&A fair postponed from the end of September to 2023.
In addition to the events, we have been very active in increasing the online findability of members. Especially now that physical meetings are limited, being easy to find online is very important. Members all have an extensive member profile and FHI supports with a wide variety of content services. Now even in the form of various content bundles, at very competitive rates.
In the four clusters (Components, EMS, Test & Meet and Development Club), members discussed market developments, shared experiences and organized various activities. What is new is that we sent newsletters from FHI to potential customers about current topics for these clusters. From 2022, members can also profile themselves individually here and we will seek even more connections from the clusters with events/fairs and other activities.
For 2022, we expect that the periods from late March to June and September to early November will have the greatest chance of success for our physical events. That is why we are now re-examining our planning and combining events. We will of course initially share this with the participants of the relevant events.
For now we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a healthy and successful 2022!
