Review of digital Power Electronics event 2020
Last week it happened… For three days it digital Power Electronics event took place. We look back with pride on this special event, which was transformed from a physical event to a digital event in a short time. With this we were also able to kick off the very first digital event that was held at FHI. It was exciting, but together with the exhibitors and visitors we managed to put together a very nice event with a strong program. Well 500 visitors pulled the event together, thanks to everyone involved.
Interactions are also possible online
Interactions at an appropriate distance via an online platform are possible, as the Power Electronics event has proven. The public was asked for their opinion via polls. Professional knowledge was also tested by asking various questions to the audience.
In addition, unforeseen circumstances brought with them some special situations. For example, a long-running ambulance disrupted a short disruption and we were briefly off the air due to a power failure. Ironically, it shows once again that we cannot do without power electronics.
More than 500 visitors attended the event
During the three-day Power Electronics Event, 16 sessions took place, with over 500 visitors attending the various sessions. That's over 30 visitors per session!
Thanks to all exhibitors, sponsors and media partners, this event, with technical content and interesting lectures, was a successful first digital edition.
