Review of the knowledge market and General Members Meeting
On June 13th, the EMC Knowledge Market and the General Members Meeting were on the program at the TU Eindhoven. Read below the review of the day.
General meeting
The members appreciate the combination of 'live' meetings and digital sessions. In addition, we discussed a new website design and a media library, which we are currently working on.
Arthur Hartsuiker of CN Rood was introduced to the members present during the AGM as new chairman of the association! Arthur was already active as a board member. We thank Jan-Kees van der Ven for his years of chairmanship and it is great that you remain active as a board member. We also welcome Dongsheng Zhao of Rhea Systems as a new board member.
We are still looking for two members for the audit committee who will annually check the finances of the association. We are also looking for a representative of the NEC-EMC. You will be present at the meetings, consult with the shadow committee and communicate the current themes and changes in the standards to all members. You can register by sending an email to Marc Berkouwer.
Knowledge market
The knowledge market focused on new developments and EMC/ESD challenges. NLR, Medisch Spectrum Twente and Philips presented on behalf of the members about EMC in hospitals, electric flying and medical products. These presentations are for the members here available for download (password protected).
In the program we also extensively discussed the research and projects from colleges and universities. Students and PhDs presented the ongoing research in pitches and showed these afterwards on posters. This year, the projects SCENT, EMImeter, ANGRI, ETOPIA, PETER, EASIER, ETERNITY and ETUT were presented by TU Eindhoven, University of Twente and KU Leuven.
The next edition of the Knowledge Market will be in 2024 and next year we will organize the EMC-ESD event again!
