Linear electric actuators are resistant to a wide variety of external elements. This is particularly useful in agriculture. Sprayers, combine harvesters, seeders, fertilizer spreaders, tractors and excavators can be improved by using linear actuators.

Electric actuators are precision tools. For example, in tractors, actuators make it possible to adjust the steering wheel precisely, adjust rear-view mirrors and open and close roofs. Farmers can therefore benefit from adapted equipment for greater comfort and thus work more efficiently.

In addition, a high degree of precision is essential. By equipping sprayers and seed drills with electric actuators, fertilizers, sand and chemicals are spread in the right quantities in the right place. This prevents crop mortality and economic damage for farmers.

Which actuators for which application?

The actuators of the MA and JP series are particularly suitable for robust machines that require power and durability. The MA1– and MA2-actuators have a thrust of 4,500 and 6,000N respectively. This allows the user to adjust different parts of his machines. Both have an IP69K protection degree and can withstand temperatures from -25 °C to +65 °C. Thanks to these characteristics, they are suitable for working in all weather conditions.

  • The MA5-accuator, with a thrust of up to 3,500 N is specially designed for applications that require robustness and durability. The IP69K protection class and the optional grease chamber ensure very high resistance to high-pressure water jets, dust and chemicals, making this actuator the ideal solution for agricultural machinery.
  • The JP3 and JP4-actuators, with a thrust of 2,000 and 4,500 N respectively, are powerful and compact. They can be used in agricultural machinery where space is limited. An IP69K protection against dust, high-pressure water jets and chemicals is available as an option.

All actuators mentioned are developed to meet the requirements of the agricultural sector. In addition, they can be equipped with potentiometers for position feedback and many other functionalities.
