Phoenix Contact BV – October 2, 2024
Several standards, frameworks and guidelines define requirements related to IACS Cyber Security, with the international series of standards ISA/IEC 62443 being considered one of the most important.
To understand the details of ISA/IEC 62443 and its requirements, a fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity related topics is essential.
This training can help you with this.
The main objective of this training is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge to successfully deal with the cyber security challenges in the context of architecture, specification, operation, management and maintenance of Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) according to the relevant standard IEC 62443. This training provides an essential understanding of the technical and application principles of cyber security in the context of industrial communication networks and relevant technologies. Participants who attend and pass the training and exam will receive a “letter of confirmation” from TÜV Rheinland stating that they have passed the exam. This course also provides insight into the key principles and practices introduced in the advanced trainings “Security Risk Assessment” and “Cyber Security for Components” of the TÜV Rheinland Cyber Security Training Program. The “letter of confirmation” is one of the requirements to follow these advanced trainings and to eventually obtain the certificate “CySec Specialist (TÜV Rheinland)”.
