An information meeting about China will take place on July 2 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM for members of VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland, and therefore also for members of FHI. The meeting will discuss, among other things, political developments between the European Union and China and mutual economic relations.

The corona crisis has recently made it clear how intertwined our chains are and how dependent we are on global value chains. But how do we create a 'level playing field'?

During this meeting the following people will speak:

  • (Moderator) Lily Sprangers; manager LeidenAsiaCentre.
  • (Speaker) Ardi Builders; director/founder China Circle who presents her research into how the Dutch business community in China deals with these challenges.
  • (Speaker) Ed Kronenburg; former Ambassador in Beijing who discusses the changing political context that foreign, especially Dutch companies face.
  • (Speaker) Lucas Noldus; scientist, professor, entrepreneur/founder of Noldus Information Technology talks about his experiences doing business in China, touching on ICSR and a changing market.

Lily Sprangers will discuss various themes through interviews with the speakers. There is also plenty of room for questions. Participation takes place via the communication and collaboration platform Microsoft Teams.
You can register by sending an email to secretariaateconomie@vnoncw-mkb.nl. A link will be sent after registration. The meeting is only open to members of VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland.
