ESD floors under the microscope: from basics to practice
What makes an ESD floor effective? How do you recognize quality differences, and what do you do if the standard measurements are negative? During this presentation, René will take you into the world of ESD floors – from material selection and lifespan to repair and overlays.
You will discover which types there are, what they do and what is involved in maintenance, measurements and safe combination with ESD shoes or heel veins. Practical points of attention such as dilatations, floor fields and access control are also discussed. In one session you are fully informed and ready for practice.
Biography
MIJtech plastic floor advice is a consultancy firm that specializes in plastic floors and thin mineral floors (including cast floors, concrete Sire, lava stone, etc.). René Mijling is the owner of MIJtech plastic floor advice and The Dutch Floor Testing Company and has been working in construction chemistry since 1988.
He is also active as a course leader for the synthetic flooring trade, member of the NEN standards committee for electrostatics (NEC 101) and member of the Sounding Board Group for wearing courses BRL K19143.
