The THT8 from Elektro Lijn HT is a thermal imaging camera for mounting on an Android smartphone or tablet by means of a USB-C connector. By installing the HTSmartCamera app on your device, you can then create sharp thermal images and save them as static images (PNG) or IR video (MP4).
The app also allows you to display hot and cold spots, insert objects such as spots, lines, areas and isothermal lines, create measurement reports and then share them via email or social networks. The app also offers an Auto Fusion function, which makes it possible to mix thermal images and normal images. This also uses the camera of the smartphone or tablet to mix the image with the thermal images and thus make it easier to recognize objects. With a measuring range of up to 400 °C and a thermal resolution of 120 x 90 pixels, this compact thermal imaging camera has numerous applications, such as (preventive) maintenance for electrical and mechanical installations, HVAC-R and checking thermal insulation.
