The new CarSonar ultrasonic sensors are specially developed to perform contactless distance measurements on moving objects. This cost-effective solution has a directly usable output signal, requiring no additional signal processing. Due to the automatic calibration in the factory, the sensors can be used immediately.
One of the three versions of the Carsonar, the MB8450, has a micro USB connection for easy integration. The sensors can be used in a network configuration.
They are equipped with automatic filtering and immune to other ultrasonic interference sources.
