Newland, manufacturer of some of the fastest and most versatile barcode scanning equipment has introduced the FM430. Simple programming and a megapixel camera make the FM430 a fantastic scanner.
The FM430 is a strong all-round fixed-mount scanner and is equipped with a 1D and 2D camera that scans almost any 1D and 2D barcode with impressive speed and accuracy. In addition, the programming, the IR sensor and the light sensor ensure a correct scan, even in low light.
The small footprint of 41.5x49.5x24.5mm and the ability to provide an external trigger to start the scan makes the scanner a good hands-free solution. An optional red-cross laser pointer makes use even more user-friendly. The IP54 value makes it possible to use the scanner outdoors if it is placed in a housing.
The FM430 has an RS-232 and USB interface, for which the cables are available separately. If RS-232 is used, a 5DVC power supply is required.
