The Education Working Group is working on a better positioning of technology in education. Pupils should already be made enthusiastic about technology in primary education. Let pupils come into contact with various facets of technology so that a pupil understands what is possible with technology. Then, on this basis, the pupil can make a correct assessment and the choice for further education.
In the field of smart buildings, there are already initiatives that the industry association applauds. Recently, an inventory was made among a number of ROC institutions of the range of courses in the field of smart buildings. The industry association Gebouw Automatisering wants to support these ROC institutions and, together with its members, contribute knowledge that ties in with the themes in the sector. Facilitating ROC institutions in the field of knowledge and possibly deploying (guest) lecturers can offer a solution to the problems in the field of education in the sector. In addition, the industry association is in consultation with ROC institutions to contribute to ready-made modules in the field of smart buildings.
In addition to the existing System Architect training course, the trade association is in discussions with TVVL about more training courses within the field of Building Automation.
