Job description
The Reliability lab facilitates and provides services that contribute to the verification of quality requirements for various products, both for the short and long term, ideal for the pre-qualification of various materials and products in various application areas.
You work with customers to accelerate product developments and prevent costly recalls. In your role as a Reliability Engineer you are in direct contact with customers to understand their questions and go through the entire cycle of:
- setting up a lifetime test plan based on the user scenario
- performing accelerated lifespan tests
- performance of data analysis
- Experience with data analysis software such as Reliasoft is an advantage.
- close collaboration with our materials analysis laboratory to unravel the failure analysis of the materials
- reporting and communication to customers about the findings
Job requirements
- completed technical HBO or university education.
- You know how to communicate at different levels of the organization and enjoy building a network.
- You are determined and take the initiative in identifying reliability issues and translating them into accelerated lifespan testing.
- Knowledge of Weibull analysis
- Knowledge and/or background in physical chemistry
- At least 3 years of work experience in Reliability Engineering
- Fluent command of the Dutch and English language
