From a looming shortage of ventilators for corona patients to a working emergency ventilator with OperationAIR

With an increasing number of patients in the ICUs during the first wave of the Corona virus, a looming shortage of ventilators arose. A group of students from TU Delft stood up and developed a working prototype within weeks to counter the shortage. 

Hubald Verzijl, Chief Electronic Design Engineer, of OperationAIR tells in his presentation about this educational and special process and takes you from the beginning to the end. Important aspects that are discussed in the webinar are: design, component and material selection, cooperation in the chain, certification/inspection and the actual production.
