'Environmental Monitor' housing Unravelled
The housing of the 'Environmental Monitor' is the result of a collaboration between Fluctus, Comdes Components and Phoenix Mecano. Together they have created a practical and user-friendly housing that is perfectly suited for measuring environmental factors in the open air. You can read how this housing was designed in this article.

The development of the 'Environmental Monitor' housing shows how powerful collaboration can be. The parties involved have combined their expertise, which has led to a practical and impressive end result. At the end of this month, trade fair visitors will have the opportunity to experience for themselves what the housing looks like and what it has to offer. All in all, we are proud of what we have achieved together and we can't wait to share it with you!

How do you keep the costs of embedded software under control?
Embedded software increasingly determines the value of a product. Especially with complex projects, costs add up and budgets are regularly exceeded. The result: a higher priced end product or a lower margin. Why do software costs so often spiral out of control and what can you do as a developer to prevent this?

We spoke about this with Gilbert Gadet, director-owner of Logic Technology and speaker at the Embedded Software seminar at the World of Industry, Technology & Science (WoTS) trade fair.

High Tech Trophy nominees announced
The World of Industry, Technology & Science trade fair is the place to discover new innovations. The most innovative products and services compete for the High Tech Trophy: the coveted award for technological innovations. A professional jury has assessed all entries and selected four nominees. They will be given a spot in the High Tech Trophy gallery on the trade fair floor. There you can decide who will win the prize by casting your vote. Voting is possible from 24 to 26 September during a trade fair visit. View the nominees here.
