Together with the 435 exhibitors and 15,700 visitors, we look back on a successful WoTS 2022 in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.

Linda Bos, deputy director of collective marketing at FHI “'That it was all possible again, that everyone could almost look each other in the eye as usual: I really noticed that positive feeling everywhere. (…) Certainly, it was exciting beforehand, and specifically in terms of the number of pre-registrations. Registrations lagged behind the target for a long time, only to catch up considerably in the last few weeks. As a result, the number of pre-registrations still amounted to just under 20,000. Ultimately, we received 15,703 visitors on the exhibition floor. Compared to the number in 2018, there were slightly fewer. But still, given the development of the number of pre-registrations, we are more than satisfied with this result.”

The seminar program with topics such as Robotics, Cyber Security and Hydrogen also attracted many visitors. Hydrogen and the energy transition was also an important topic on the exhibition floor. Visitors to the Waterstofplein could literally look under the hood of a number of concrete innovations for the production and application of green hydrogen.

Tech Award 2022
Like other years, visitors per world could vote for the WoTS TechAward 2022.

FOCUS-ON, a subsidiary of Krohne & Samson, received the TechAward for World of Automation for the FOCUS-1: the first intelligent process node specifically developed for industry 4.0.

This year, for the first time, the GreenTech Award was presented to the company that could demonstrate that their innovation makes a positive contribution to sustainability. Weiss Technik Netherlands impressed the jury with the new ClimeEvent  with absolute humidity control and WT69 (R469A), the successor to the successful ClimeEvent.

We would like to thank all exhibitors, partner organizations and visitors for all their efforts, involvement and positive energy and look forward with confidence to the next WoTS edition in 2024!
