Warning about digital attacks due to war in Ukraine
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) once again warns that companies must ensure their digital resilience is in order. The reason this time is the war in Ukraine and the possibility of cyber attacks on Dutch businesses.
Although the NCSC says that it has so far no concrete indications that cyber attacks have been carried out on the Netherlands in relation to the war in Ukraine, the organization emphasizes that companies must apply basic measures. The NCSC also refers to the publication Points of attention for crisis management and crisis communication in digital incidents.
In particular, DDOS attacks and so-called wiperware – malware that permanently deletes data on systems – have been reported more frequently internationally since the outbreak of the war. Various hacker groups are also active.
More information can be found at the NCSC.
