You have probably heard the term Smart City before, but do you also know what a Smart City is? In Dutch, we also call a Smart City a Smart City. A Smart City is a city where smart applications (Internet of Things), data and existing systems are connected to a large network to improve, among other things, the quality of life (of people and animals), environmental quality and sustainability in a city (or municipality).
