Climate Working Group Meeting PLOT – October 20, 2021
After more than 1.5 years, the PLOT climate working group has physically met again. This also means that a new topic has been broached, namely UV/ Solar testing. The meeting was held at Eurofins Materials Science on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
The meeting started with an introduction round where everyone had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the 11-person group. Three presentations were then given. Jorrit Hillaert spoke on behalf of Rycobel about UV-Solar testing. After this it was Paul Deeben's turn (Eurofins Materials Science) to take the audience along in his story about the aging of polymers by means of the SEPAP. The third and final presentation was about the Solar test equipment at Inalfa Roof Systems and was given by Anthony Koot.
The meeting was concluded with a short tour of the Eurofins Reliability lab. Here the various Solar/UV systems were discussed.
A report of the meeting is here to read again.
