OT Cyber Security Directives, IEC 62443, NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), European Machinery Regulation (EU 2023/1230) and even local legislation force machine builders to examine their industrial (OT) cyber security and make strategic choices.
This presentation uses a customer case to demonstrate how unidirectional architectures and segmentation are applied for OEMs and machine builders. Regardless of upcoming legislation or the sophistication of a cybersecurity attack, unidirectional (physical) solutions cannot be hacked.
Use cases covered include real-time remote monitoring, secure patch and virus management, and remote access for critical OT environments. The common denominator here is "engineering-grade."
