FHI connects

FHI is a network of technology entrepreneurs in which knowledge and technology come together. Four industry associations together form FHI Federation of technology branches.

FHI connects four sectors: Industrial Electronics, Building Automation, Industrial Automation and Laboratory Technology. FHI represents the interests of more than 650 affiliated technology suppliers. Our focus is on collective marketing, individual services and advocacy. FHI unites the member companies and works together with industry, government and (independent) institutions on innovative and concrete solutions.

FHI is working towards a world in which people and technology strengthen each other to solve societal challenges.

What do we do?

Collective marketing
FHI believes in the power of collaboration and through collective marketing we bring our members closer to the market. We organize fairs, events, meetings and workshops. In addition to physical meetings, we increase the online visibility of our members through the online platform fhi.nl.
Services
FHI supports its members by offering a variety of services. You can contact us and our trusted partners for legal advice, model agreements, general terms and conditions, market information, insurance and HRM services.
Advocacy
FHI represents your interests at national and international level. Membership of FHI contributes to a strong voice that represents the interests of the technology, industry and laboratory sectors, thus jointly promoting a favourable business climate.

Almost 70 years of technology fair

In 2024, FHI will celebrate the fifth edition of the World of Industry, Technology & Science. But did you know that the largest industrial trade fair in the Benelux has been around since 1956? We look back on almost 70 years of technology fair and discuss with Corné Reuvers of Beun-De Ronde how the role of the fair has changed over the years.
