Signify's Reliability Test lab has a wide variety of test and measurement equipment. For example, we carry out high and low temperature tests on our products as well as temperature change tests. We also use various moisture chambers. We use salt spray equipment to test corrosion resistance. To determine the water resistance of our products during their lifespan, we use rooms with associated IP and rain test equipment. We also have a large walk-in chamber for long-term testing. All this to gain more insight into the lifespan of our products in different environments, such as indoors, outdoors, in tunnels and on bridges, but also in swimming pools, horticultural greenhouses and stables. Gaining rapid insight into possible failure mechanisms helps us to continuously improve the quality and reliability of our lighting solutions and to develop products that are suitable for their environment and last a long time, without loss of light output.
