Demos

During Production Process Automation 2025, exhibitors are challenged to present their expertise through interactive demos on their stand. Here you will discover innovative automation solutions from leading suppliers, presented in a practical and directly applicable way. On this page you will find an overview of the demos you can expect.

Festo Automation Experience, Festo AX

Value-added services for increased productivity

Our AI solution improves production processes, monitors health monitoring and predictive maintenance for components, machines and systems. This software application collects data from the shop floor and can be used to make live-based maintenance suggestions, enabling more efficient maintenance. Several key features are available, such as visualization, monitoring, asset management, workflows, data logic and analytics.

At the PPA event we will demonstrate live how our software can be applied to process valves.

HMS Networks – From insights to impact

During this demo, HMS Networks will show you how to easily collect machine data from various PLCs and other controllers in both greenfield and brownfield projects. Discover effective and efficient data acquisition, from local buffering to secure forwarding to the cloud for in-depth analysis. With these insights, you can make smarter and more conscious choices for optimizing your installation. Whether it's improving performance, minimizing downtime, or reducing (energy) costs: our IIoT platform helps you take your production process to the next level.

Come and discover how IIoT can make your factory future-proof!

ICT GROUP – MES linked to a digital twin

The Aspentech MES digital twin demo setup consists of a digital twin simulation of a logistics process. The digital twin is linked to a standard MES application that provides the control. For example, MES provides for receiving and processing orders. Data from the simulation is stored in the MES database and is then visualized.

OTconnect – Attack on a Baggage Handling System

Discover how vulnerabilities in OT systems can have a direct impact on critical processes. In this demo, OTconnect shows how a hacker manipulates a baggage carousel by bypassing the X-ray scanner, allowing unsecured baggage to pass through the system undetected. This simulation emphasizes the risks of insufficient security in OT networks and the crucial role of monitoring to detect anomalous behavior in a timely manner. Get inspired and learn how to protect your operational processes with the right security measures.”

Schneider Electric – Ecostruxure Automation Expert

Discover how you can automate universally with Ecostruxure Automation Expert.

Universal automation offers the ability to integrate diverse devices and systems, regardless of type and manufacturer. Decoupling software and hardware opens the door to flexible, scalable solutions, allowing organizations to benefit from greater vendor choice and technological advancements. As a result, Universal Automation is considered the “Missing Link” of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT). Organizations benefit from faster solution deployment, greater ease of use, and lower costs.

TURCK – Automatic stock transfers with RFID, the future of inventory management

Searching for inventory in warehouses can be a huge waste of time. Did you know that companies waste an average of 1/5 of a man-year searching for items?
Turck Vilant Systems – RFID Solutions, has a solution for that. By using RFID technology and smart integration in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory movements can be processed fully automatically, without having to do manual scans. This technology makes it possible to automate warehouses by placing RFID systems on forklifts and providing locations with RFID location tags. This automatically registers every location change and keeps the inventory up-to-date. This saves time and optimizes planning.
Curious how RFID can improve your inventory management? Seeing is believing! We look forward to seeing you at our booth with a live demo during the PPA event.

WAGO – Connecting machines, systems and buildings

WAGO's IoT Box combines powerful automation with ease of use, enabling real-time data analysis and predictive maintenance for industrial equipment. This technology increases operational efficiency and reduces maintenance costs through precise monitoring and fast processing of machine data. The IoT Box integrates various interfaces and protocols, making it a flexible and scalable solution for a wide range of industries striving to digitalize and optimize their processes.

We will demonstrate our energy management solution and show how easy it is to integrate an IIoT solution into new and existing installations.
