11.30 am – 12.00 pm

Limagrain Ingredients, founded in 1906 as a flour mill, has developed into an innovative producer of flour products for the food and feed industry. The company applies techniques such as pressure cooking, extrusion and the MPP multi-purpose process to extract the best properties from grains for both humans and animals. In a two-year project, Limagrain has taken a unique step in the flour industry. By using new technology and existing meters and field instruments, the company can now monitor the exact energy consumption per ingredient. This leads to significant improvements in energy efficiency, CO2 emissions, regulatory compliance and innovation. The success of this project in a brownfield environment demonstrates Limagrain's commitment to digital transformation and provides a blueprint for future implementations at other locations.
