Enhanced OT security in automotive component production

Cybersecurity in practice. How Swisstools production site in France discovered components communicating directly with Chinese IP numbers.

Marc van Gent presents on behalf of Swisstools a cybersecurity project for their production site in France. During the test phase of a prototyping project, they discovered that components were communicating with Chinese IP numbers. The production control system was affected by a cybersecurity risk. Marc emphasizes in his presentation that an important part of the project is bridging the gap between IT and OT.
