Processing personal data

PI Nederland, records personal data for the use of its organization of events and courses with the aim of providing exhibitor and visitor passes and the registration of successful students. After registration, PI Nederland stores the personal data you provided: gender, name, company name, address details, e-mail address and telephone number. And your date of birth if you have provided it. PI Nederland stores the personal data for 5 years.

PI Nederland retains and uses the personal data you provide to invite you and keep you informed of other (marketing) activities and services that are relevant and interesting to you, such as upcoming events and courses.

Exhibitors

When you register as a visitor to attend an event, your personal data: gender, name, function, market segment, areas of interest (if provided), company name, address details, business email address and telephone number, will be shared with participating exhibitors, if you have given permission for this or there is a legal obligation. Exhibitors will use your data to provide information or make offers.

Badge

As a visitor, you understand that when you agree to your badge being scanned by an exhibitor during the event, you are providing the exhibitor with personal information. You give the exhibitor permission to use this information to contact you about their products or services. You understand that this exhibitor may use your data outside the European Economic Area and you give permission for this. You understand and agree to the retention and use of your data by the organization of this event: PI Nederland, and any third party acting on behalf of the organization, to make the event happen and to analyze the visitor flow with the aim of improving the visitor experience.

Course / certification

Students who follow a certified course through the designated training centers ATS Applied Tech Systems BV or PROCENTEC BV are given the choice of whether they want to be included as a certified person in the register of PI International. This registration is managed and executed by the PI Support Center. Students who make use of the opt-in option will be informed about the activities of PI Nederland & members.

Newsletters

For the information, storage and processing of personal data, PI Nederland uses a partner called sendinblue. You can here consult the GDPR regulations.

Withdraw declaration of consent

If you no longer wish to receive registration for activities and/or newsletters, information about (new) products and services (by e-mail), you can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the e-mail. If this is not possible, you can also send an e-mail to: info@profibus.nl or submit a written request to: Secretariat PI Nederland, FHI, Privacy Department, Postbus 366, 3830 AK Leusden, Fax (033) 461 66 38. We will respond to your request within 5 working days.

To withdraw your consent for the use of personal data by third parties, please refer to the relevant third party.

Inspection and modification of personal data

If PI Nederland has recorded your personal data, you can view and change this data by sending an email to: info@profibus.nl or submit a written request to: Secretariat PI Nederland, FHI, privacy department, Postbus 366, 3830 AK Leusden. We will respond to your request within 5 working days.

Use of Cookies

PI Nederland uses cookies when offering its services. This is a small, simple file with data that is either stored on the hard drive of your computer or in the session of your browser.

Amendments

PI Nederland reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Statement as a result of new developments. We therefore advise you to regularly check this statement for any changes.
