THE HISTORY

Even before the Second World War, BLW Visser also started supplying machines for the textile industry. BLW Visser continues to be ahead when it comes to the latest techniques. Even when the textile industry was changing rapidly and factories in the Netherlands and Belgium were increasingly specializing in the production of technical textiles and the production of plastic products. BLW Visser adapted and adapts its product range to changing market demand.

THE REVOLUTION

Sensors followed in 1990 and later fire detection. Around that time, the original chemicals department, BLW Chemical Products, also merged with Vogelzang Chemie to form the company Visser Vogelzang Chemie, now called Vivochem. BLW Visser entered the twenty-first century as an independent company with 3 product groups: Fire Detection, Sensors and Machines for the Textile and Plastics Industry. A number of chemical specialties also fall under this last group.
