The Edge of Progress: Unlocking AI's Potential in Embedded Systems

During this presentation, we will take you along on Core-Vision's AI journey, always staying true to our 'core': embedded and edge applications. You will learn about various AI learning techniques and solutions that were implemented on MCU-, GPU-, and FPGA-based embedded platforms. During our journey, we discovered several pitfalls and limitations which will be presented. We have discovered that the added value of using AI heavily depends on the desired solution. Therefore we do not see AI as a goal, but as a powerful tool to accelerate product development, create new and enhance existing solutions. A great example of this is the 'Image divider' demo at our stand, showcasing how AI adds real value to embedded systems.
