Theme: practical case

Reliable networks are essential for the operation of critical infrastructures in industry. Disruptions in these networks can lead to significant operational losses and safety risks. It is therefore crucial to proactively respond to potential network problems in order to ensure the continuity and safety of systems.

This practical lecture presents two real-life cases in which network problems threatened the continuity of critical infrastructures. Through advanced network monitoring, the causes of the problems could eventually be quickly detected and effectively resolved. The case studies emphasize the need for accurate monitoring and targeted interventions in complex industrial environments.

We will discuss the challenges for OT professionals, the importance of following the PI specification, and the role of network monitoring in identifying problems. This talk will provide valuable insights and strategies for OT professionals responsible for the stability and security of industrial networks.
