This practical lecture presents two real-life cases in which network problems threatened the continuity of critical infrastructures. Through advanced network monitoring, the causes of the problems could eventually be quickly detected and effectively resolved. The case studies emphasize the need for accurate monitoring and targeted interventions in complex industrial environments.

We will discuss the challenges for OT professionals, the importance of following the PI specification, and the role of network monitoring in identifying problems.
