What are you going to do?

As a project manager, your focus is on contact with (potential) members and exhibitors. You are involved in maintaining relationships with our members and recruiting new members. As a project manager, you are responsible for setting up and organizing various FHI activities such as events, workshops, trade fair projects and member meetings. You are responsible for drawing up a project plan and coordinating this with the other teams. You provide content for the various programs and recruit speakers. You also have an important role in recruiting exhibitors for FHI events and trade fairs.

 

What are you going to do?

  • Maintaining and expanding our network of members and relations
  • Identifying opportunities for new clusters, groups and events
  • Creating event formats and recruiting exhibitors and participants
  • Prepare and lead meetings with exhibitors and members, including presentations
  • Providing content for the various programs and recruiting speakers
  • Carrying out and evaluating activities, including preparing and monitoring project plans and budgets
  • Recruiting new members and exhibitors for trade fairs and events
  • Act as project manager at events and as contact person for members
  • Supporting management activities, including planning and minute-taking.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Daily contact with members and stakeholders for feedback and support
  • Realizing project goals within deadline and budget
  • Promote membership recruitment and retention
  • Consultation with team members of Exhibitions & Events and Marketing & Communications per activity
  • Report on progress and results to the Branch Manager and Senior Project Manager.

Experience:

  • HBO work and thinking level
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
  • Courses/training that match the desired qualities and responsibilities
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
  • An affinity with association work is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of the tech sector is an advantage, but not a requirement.
