For more than 60 years, Tradinco Instruments has been developing, producing and trading an extensive package of innovative test, measurement and calibration products and services for industry. In our calibration laboratory we provide accredited calibrations (K050) in the field of pressure, temperature and various electrical quantities.

Who are we looking for?

As a sales engineer, you get your energy from translating a customer question into a technically and commercially suitable solution. Your success is determined by your enthusiasm for technology and your commercial drive.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

As a sales engineer you will be involved in:

  • Prepare quotations and proactively follow up (by telephone);
  • Processing customer orders and monitoring customer satisfaction;
  • Taking on projects;
  • Following product training, courses, self-study to broaden your knowledge and stay informed of developments in the market.

What knowledge/skills do you have?

  • At least a completed technical MBO education or comparable level through experience;
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, German is an advantage;
  • You have strong communication skills, you can plan and prioritize well;
  • Affinity with measurement and control technology;
  • Affinity with ERP software and MS Office;
  • Customer-oriented and problem-solving attitude.

The team

The sales team consists of 9 people. The team is jointly responsible for the commercial success of Tradinco.

The combination of self-developed products, trade, service and software makes it broad and challenging, but never boring. The products and services we provide are of high quality. You will work under the leadership of Oscar and will collaborate a lot with your other direct colleagues from engineering and operations. At Tradinco, there are currently around 40 colleagues working.

What we offer:

  • Plenty of room for your own initiative;
  • A starting salary of €3,200 gross on a full-time basis, if you already have some work experience this will be higher;
  • A lot of independence in the position after an intensive induction period;
  • Fixed 13th month;
  • Excellent secondary employment conditions, including 33 days off, pension scheme, collective profit sharing scheme, vitality program, travel allowance, etc.
  • A challenging position for 36-40 hours per week;
