We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial account manager who can further develop our presence in the Dutch market.
Job description
As Account Manager Netherlands you are responsible for managing existing customer relationships and actively expanding our customer base in the Netherlands. You work closely with our Belgian team and suppliers to offer customers the best solutions for their passive electronic components. Your focus is on providing technical support, advising customers in their development processes, and maximizing sales opportunities.
Your responsibilities
- Expanding and developing the Dutch market: Identifying and approaching new business opportunities, markets, and potential customers within the electronics industry.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers by supporting them with technical advice and customized solutions.
- Advice and support: Advising customers during the design and development process of their products, with a focus on selecting and applying the right passive components.
- Technology updates: Keeping abreast of the latest trends and developments in the industry and sharing this information with customers to advise them on improvements to their processes.
- Sales and Reporting: Develop sales strategies, targets and forecasts, and report regularly to management.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the internal team and our partners/manufacturers to provide the right solutions and optimize deliveries.
What we are looking for
- Commercial experience in the technical sector: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in the distribution of electronic components or related products.
- Technical knowledge: In-depth knowledge of passive electronic components and their application in various sectors such as industrial electronics, telecom, automotive, or consumer electronics.
- Network in the electronics industry: An existing network of contacts in the electronics industry in the Netherlands is a strong asset.
- Independent and results-oriented: You are enterprising, proactive and have strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills: You are able to explain complex technical solutions clearly and can work well with both technical and non-technical customers.
- Language skills: Fluent Dutch and good English, spoken and written.
