Test Engineer

The function:

From the earliest design stage, you will help clients to perfect the design of printed circuit board assemblies (pcba's). The highest quality, optimal testability, manufacturability and delivery flexibility and minimal costs are the result of your work. With Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design for Testing (DfT), you maximize the manufacturability, test accessibility and test coverage of the pcba design together with the designer. You advise the client on the best test strategy. With DfM and DfT we guarantee the best delivery quality for our clients and you are part of that. The work:

As a test engineer, you develop test hardware and software in collaboration with the client and you coordinate the requirements for the test. These tests are used to ensure the correct functioning of the assembled printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and electronic modules, so that they meet the customer specifications upon delivery. You assess and advise the electronic design on manufacturability and testability. You ensure timely and correct feedback of any comments to designers at the client(s). You create test procedures and test regulations and adjust the tests in the event of changes. You work well together with our test employees at the head office in Dirksland.
