In the role of Mechanical Engineer you are involved in the design, development and improvement of mechanical systems and components. You will work with a team of enthusiastic colleagues and have regular project-oriented contact with customers.

You look for the best technical and sustainable solutions in the context of manufacturability, strength, costs, assembleability and reliability of the design. In addition, you provide the necessary analytical substantiation to be able to guarantee the stated functionality and the integrity of the construction. In this varied function it is possible to further develop yourself and grow within our company.

What are you going to do?

  • As a Mechanical Engineer you independently specify and design technical solutions within mechanical engineering
  • You make plans and report on progress and assignment/design changes with the relevant stakeholders, such as lead engineers and project managers.
  • You perform control registrations, design verifications and ensure the necessary reporting
  • Where necessary, you will take care of the concept and/or detailed engineering yourself
  • Naturally, you will have project-oriented contact with the customer
  • You consult with external parties and other colleagues within VIRO to successfully complete the project
  • You help your colleagues where necessary and you guide junior engineers in their development and in their projects.

Requirements

  • A completed higher professional or university education in technology, preferably Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Several years of experience in the field
  • Sufficient work experience in mechanical engineering to be able to work independently
  • Successfully delivering projects within the set time and budget is one of your driving forces
  • Solution-oriented to solve the various issues
  •  You communicate easily with your customers and colleagues, also in English
  • You contribute to the team spirit
  • Flexible attitude because every project is different
