Project Manager

As a Project Manager at VDL TBP Electronics, you ensure the optimal progress of the NPIs (New Product Introductions) and you are the ambassador of our company! You are the proverbial "spider in the web" and know better than anyone how to connect different departments. When introducing a new product, you start by collecting the necessary information by conducting customer interviews. When the information has been fully mapped out, you ensure a clear transfer of information to the members of the project team and the technical feasibility is investigated. In this role, you ensure that the entire process, from customer request to the start of (series) production, runs smoothly. You know how to maintain an overview and ensure that all parties involved receive the correct information on time. Your tasks include:

• Guiding quotation processes;
• Conducting progress discussions with the customer;
• Supervising the production processes together with the project engineer;
• Monitoring costs and schedules;
• Ensuring quality by properly following up on identified errors and areas for improvement.

• A higher professional education in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering;
• Several years of relevant commercial technical work experience;
• Oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• Insight into production processes, planning and life-cycle management;
• A proactive attitude and driven in (quality) judgment;
• Solution and results-oriented attitude with a sense of commerce
